JT has worked with dozens of production studios and hundreds of clients over the past 11+ years as an independent motion artist.

Manta Comics
With the folks over at Lemonade, I worked on a huge marketing campaign for Manta Comics, a South Korean company doing a big push to bring several of their hit Manhwa comic properties to North America.
We created a series of trailers and marketing spots such as the one for Finding Camellia above, where we combine live action with animation to show the immersion Manta is trying to achieve with their Infinite Canvas app, where readers can scroll seamlessly through their episodic content. I was responsible for all animation and compositing for this particular video, using art assets provided by the artists at Manta, and live action footage shot by the Lemonade team that uses a combination of back-projection and green screen.
I also had the super unique opportunity to design and animate an ad that played on 5 gigantic screens in Times Square, NYC right after the 2021 holiday season. The video above shows actual footage shot in Times Square that features my work plastered all over skyscrapers downtown for a full week.
Tripactions
TripActions is a business travel management company that I began working with back in 2018. When the Covid pandemic took hold of the world, the travel industry changed dramatically and we created a series of videos that helped the company evolve with the new travel landscape.
It was a big challenge to rapidly iterate video content as the company scrambled to adapt to the pandemic. TripActions needed to constantly roll out new product features, such as the ability to screen for travel health advisories on the fly, and we were working together to adjust messaging and address fears and concerns for the traveler as Covid waxed and waned.
Above are just a few examples of the 20+ projects I’ve completed for them in recent years. I was responsible for all visual development, layouts, design, animation, and editing for these pieces.
Bloom Energy
Bloom is a green energy company that manufactures solid oxide fuel cells allowing large facilities and ships to produce clean energy on-site without using toxic metals found in other fuel cells. I was responsible for all illustration and animation on these projects.
Druva
Druva is a cloud backup, storage, and cyber security company that I did a bunch of work for from 2016 - 2018. I was responsible for all design, illustration and animation on these projects.
